The photography of Clarissa Bonet

I’m always excited by photographs and how they only give us part of the story. I guess they are similar to poems in that way. Clarissa Bonet is an artist based in Chicago whose work explores issues of the urban space in both a physical and psychological context. She has some stunning work looking at cities and it has been a real impetus for creativity to me. Check out http://www.clarissabonet.com/

Prompt of the day

Have a look at this photo.

What is the character looking at?

How is she feeling?

What are in the lockers that she is searching in?

What happens after this image? And before?

See whether you can create a short sharp poem about this lady.

Don’t worry about it being ‘the best thing ever’, just get something down

Enjoy
